Time to save the world! Who's with me?

Pretty achievable goal, right? I mean, who says we can't do it?
Ok I know it is a pretty big goal, where do you even begin. Is it protesting whenever we can? Is it going to governments to demand change? Is it supporting businesses who are trying to save the world? Is it talking to your family to try and get them to change their ways?
Honestly, I ask myself these questions all the time. It seems like I am constantly trying to find the 'right' way to make the world a better place. Then when I can't figure it out, I start to feel really overwhelmed. If I can't do it 'right' or 'perfectly', how can I even start trying?
I think this is a bit of trap we often fall into. The need to find a 'perfect' way can actually lead to more inaction. I think we do underestimate how much small change can add up overtime. That is how I am approaching my desire to want to make the world better.
So, for example, I am wanting to help the environment. Quite a big goal. So, I think how can I "think globally and act locally?" How can I live my life by my values? At this stage I am really getting into my gardening. I am taking it slow and trying lots of different things to see what works. I have started my own compost and over the last year have drastically reduced the amount of food waste our household creates.
I have many more things I am working on, which I will share in this space over time, and I have tried lots of things to see what fits best into my life and what I can easily continue implementing. It has built up really well overtime and has become second nature, so it is easy to continue doing.
That's what I hope for you. To find out what sustainable practices work for you. All our journeys to living a more sustainable life are going to look very different. It doesn't mean that any way is "wrong". We all need to be doing our part to make this world a better place. Because it will add up very quickly.
I'd love to know, what does the part you play look like?
